1. Turn chair upside down.

2. Holding the caster steady, place the inside of tire over the exposed part of the wheel. (Make sure the flange of the tire is always facing the outside of the caster.) (Figure A) |

3. Rotate the installed tire ½ rotation. (Figure B) |

4. Insert CasterTire™ tool under the tire and pry it over the wheel. (Figures C & D)

5. Adjust the tire with the hook end of the tool to make it even. (Figure E.) |

Tip: If having trouble with installation, try placing tires in a bucket of hot tap water. The hot water will make the tires more pliable and easier to install. (Be careful not to use water that is too hot – ETC is not responsible for burns and accepts no liability.) |
